Retail Coach, LLC Presents Report Findings

SEABROOK, Texas (April 01, 2010) - The Seabrook Economic Development Corporation hosted a presentation by 'The Retail Coach' to the Seabrook business and development community Wednesday, March 17. Local business owners and leasing agents attended the meeting to learn more about the Retail Recruitment and Development Strategy for the City of Seabrook, which is currently in progress by The Retail Coach, LLC.

The intent of this study is to provide a better understanding of the community's retail sector to improve opportunities for existing retailers and provide a foundation for attracting new retailers and restaurants to Seabrook.

The presentation provided a summary overview of the 'The Retail Coach' studies and data collected to date for Seabrook. The content also focused on:

• Seabrook's primary and secondary retail trade area boundaries
• Seabrook's demographics
• Leakage amounts for specific retail sectors
• Psychographic profile breakdown of Seabrook retail trade area residents that identifies consumer lifestyles, purchasing behaviors, and media habits
• Retailer Match List of retailers selected to fit Seabrook
