• San Jacinto College Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
  The SBDC provides free counseling and low-cost workshops to help small business owners start and grow their companies. Workshops cover topics including starting a business, writing a business plan, developing a marketing plan, understanding and using financial statements, securing SBA loans and more.
• University of Houston Small Business Development Center Network
  Take advantage of affordable workshops & seminars on a wide variety of business topics including marketing, finance, management, computers, taxes and executive skills enhancement. 
• Houston Chapter of SCORE
  Network with other successful business owners. A non-profit association and resource partner of the U.S. SBA, SCORE offers low-cost seminars and workshops for start-up and in-business entrepreneurs.

Seabrook Business Retention & Expansion Program

Retaining and expanding current businesses is just as important to the Seabrook EDC as recruiting new ones. We are dedicated to helping our existing business owners grow and expand their operations. In coordination with the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership (BAHEP), the EDC regularly meets with local Seabrook business owners to learn about their current needs, issues and challenges. Then, we help them find the solutions they need to prosper.
